The 6th of February is always a sad day for Manchester United fans, as it brings us back those memories of that fateful day in Germany, when a whole host of young boys lost their lives in cruel fashion. However, the amount of classy tributes posted all over social media never fails to amaze me.
The most fitting tribute from a Manchester United point of view today was Patrice Evra’s, with the fan favourite taking to Instagram to remember those who tragically perished.
The Frenchman was all suited and booted in his Manchester United suit, sending his thoughts to the community at this difficult time.
Manchester United are a club draped in rich tradition and history, and Patrice was always one of those players who came in and was keen to learn about everything.
Football as a whole was put into context 59 years ago today, and although so many people lost their lives, they’ll never be forgotten.

Perhaps the one downside is the photo bomber in the background, but this post is just pure class.
Rest in Peace, Busby’s Babes.
