Back in January, we learnt that Patrice Evra was all set to leave Manchester United in the summer. However this morning, the papers are claiming that an extraordinary U-turn could be on the cards, and the French fullback could still be plying his trade at Old Trafford next season.
According to his agent, Evra still hasn’t decided what he’ll do in the future despite having numerous offers on the table from some of Europe’s best clubs.
“Patrice has to decide what to do with his future,” Pastorello said.
“He is very close to United, but lately things have changed a little.
“Could he come back to Italy? Patrice has always highly regarded Serie A and so, if he were to leave England, it could be a possibility.
“But at the moment it is still too early to talk about next season.”
Personally I’d like to see Evra move away from United this summer, meaning the club simply have to bring in a younger replacement. This year Evra seems to be culpable for many mistakes due to that couple of yards of pace he seems to have lost. His game would be much better suited to the slower pace of the Serie A.
He’s been a great servant to our club, and one of the best left-backs England has ever witnessed but every players career must come to an end.

yes, younger face like Luke show or contrao
Definitely the way to go I think. He’s lost his pace and as a modern day fullback, you need pace.
