Paul Pogba move to Real Madrid all-but done as Man United to lose star: report

I think it’s fair to say that Paul Pogba’s time at Manchester United has been massively disappointing thus far. The superstar Frenchman hasn’t been anywhere near consistent enough, with the Red Devils fans expecting far more.

However, his time at Old Trafford could be coming to an end, if reports from Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda (OK Diario), translated by the Daily Record is to be believed…

Inda is well-respected for his Real Madrid sources, and he’s claiming that Pogba’s move to Los Blancos is ‘all-but done’, with the midfielder set to leave United this summer – heading to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Furthermore, Pogba will take a massive paycut to push through the deal – lowering his £13million-a-year wages to somewhere around £10million per season.

Inda also says that Adidas are keen to get the deal done as Pogba is one of just two faces of the brand – and a move to Madrid would benefit them financially.

Despite all his talents and greatness, we’ve just not seen enough from Pogba. At this point, I wouldn’t mind if he left the club this summer provided United get a decent transfer fee for him. Granted, that’s easier said than done, while searching for a replacement without Champions League football on offer could be another problem, but the Reds need to rebuild around players who actually want to be here.
