Man United will welcome Paul Pogba back to the pitch in the not too distant future.
Ralf Rangnick has an excellent squad at his disposal. This is a side that, on their day, is capable of beating anyone.
A key part of the side for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was Paul Pogba. The Frenchman displayed his best form under the Baby Faced Assassin, despite the fact he continues to divide fan opinion due to off-field antics.
He likes to speak through both his agent and brother, constantly bad-mouthing the club who pay his wages. That’s always baffled me despite his on-field brilliance.
That said, I can appreciate his quality as a footballer. Now, according to ESPN, Pogba is closing in on his comeback from injury. Which is obviously a welcome boost.
The Frenchman has been out since mid-October, suffering from an injury he picked up while away on France international duty. Now, according to ESPN, the midfielder has ‘expressed a willingness to work with United’s new manager Rangnick.
It’s also worth noting that ESPN claims United expect Pogba to stay beyond the January transfer window.
Pogba will be a free agent in six months time and from next week, he can begin talks with overseas clubs about signing on a pre-contract, which would begin next summer.
At this point, I’m sick of United bending over backwards for any player. Much less one who often gives off the impression that he couldn’t care less about being here…
If there’s any chance that United can get some sort of transfer fee back for Pogba this January, I’d seriously consider it. Perhaps it’d be better for everyone if he left because United would be free from the stress and hassle of having to put up with his constant flirting with other clubs in the media.
