Paul Pogba pictured back in Man Utd training for first time in 2022

Paul Pogba has been pictured back in Man United training.

Manchester United have been without their star midfielder, Paul Pogba, for over three months. The Frenchman would suffer a problem while on international duty back in October.

At the time, it was a bitter blow and it definitely didn’t help Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s cause to remain on as manager. Whether we like him as a player or not, having Pogba available is better for all involved.

Just a week or so ago, Ralf Rangnick told us all that it’d be at least another four-to-six weeks before we see Pogba back out on the field. That may well still be the case, but he was back out there with his teammates yesterday.

It was Cristiano Ronaldo who’d confirm the massive injury boost with a photo of the ‘winning team’, including Pogba. The key star had been spotted back in training for the first time in 2022, which is huge news for Rangnick and the rest of the dressing room.

Check out Cristiano Ronaldo’s Twitter post here:

Looking at our current midfield and how they’re performing, Pogba should walk back into the starting line-up.

However, I don’t want to get ahead of myself here, I still believe it’ll be at least a few weeks before Pogba is back starting games for United.

Even then, we have to remember that this is a man out of contract this summer and he’ll be making business decisions to protect himself and secure a massive bumper new deal either at Old Trafford or elsewhere.

Looking at it in the here and now, this is some good news for United, who need an emotional lift at this moment in time.

Should Paul Pogba be given his place back in the starting XI as soon as he’s fit? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
