Paul Pogba to make Man United first-team training return this week: report

It’s widely regarded that Paul Pogba is the most talented player at Manchester United Football Club. Whatever you think of him, you cannot take away from his insane ability.

Well, the Frenchman has barely played this term due to an ongoing ankle problem. I would probably agree that Pogba’s recovery could’ve happened quicker, though it’s pretty clear (to me anyway) that he doesn’t want to be here so the midfielder was never going to rush.

Over the last 24 hours, we’ve had some good news in regards to his return. It comes from ESPN in the form of an exclusive, who state that the key 26-year-old is set to return to United first-team training this week; giving United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a big injury lift.

Furthermore, Pogba has apparently been ‘closely following’ United’s results during his absence, while he’s looking forward to returning and developing a partnership with Bruno Fernandes – who has been in sublime form since making the move to Manchester.

With United now entering into the business end of the season, getting a player like Pogba, who is hungry for minutes, back is a huge boost. Make no mistake about it, he’ll be looking to make an impact to ensure his place in France’s European Championships squad is confirmed.

If he can aid United and help us secure our place in the Champions League, while winning the Europa League or FA Cup, then I’d thank him and let him leave with our best wishes.

Sadly, it hasn’t quite worked out as we’d have all hoped, though I can’t help but feel he’s going to have a good couple of months to end the season as he looks to increase interest in him over the summer…
