Paul Pogba’s Man United career is over, Reds to accept fee of £100million: report

Manchester United Football Club find themselves dealing with a Paul Pogba problem.

The Red Devils’ midfielder hasn’t really featured this season due to injury, though I can’t help but feel there is more to it than that…

We now know, courtesy of a story we covered from the Evening Standard, that Pogba will be ready to return as soon as football resumes…

Yesterday, we were given a further update on the situation from The Sun. Their story is far less positive, as they claim that the 27-year-old’s United career ‘is over’. Furthermore, both sides want a ‘splitting of the ways’ at this point in time…

Offers of around £100million would see United ‘move quickly to get a deal done’ for a player whose contract does expire next summer (although the Reds hold the option to extend the deal by a further year).

Real Madrid and Juventus still remain interested in Pogba, while both believe they can make the most out of his talent.

For United, it has been disappointing. Pogba has shown glimpses of his brilliance, though, for the most part, the displays have been pretty average. This season we’ve barely seen him, which leaves a sour taste in the mouth – particularly after his comments last summer.

Look, we have Bruno Fernandes now and everyone would love to see the pair play together. However, if it comes to it, we have a ready-made replacement who is loving every second of being a United player.
