The performances just keep getting worse, don’t they? Manchester United made it four games without a win last night, drawing 0-0 at home to a poor Valencia CF side.
On the whole, the game itself was a dull affair. Chances were at a premium. The team just didn’t look like they wanted it. It is more of what we have come to expect from United over the last month or so – which is an indictment on just how poor Jose Mourinho has been.
Amongst the Mourinho doubters? Paul Scholes. The ex-United midfielder slammed the self-proclaimed Special One with a passionate rant before the game at Old Trafford last night. You know what? He was absolutely right. Check it out below:
"I'm surprised that he survived after Saturday"
"I think he's embarrassing the club."

You know, I’d love to disagree with Scholes but I just can’t. It feels inevitable that Mourinho will eventually lose his job. Why not just sack him now? Things aren’t suddenly going to get better. We all know that.
The players have stopped playing for him, the fans are slowly turning. It feels like it’s only a matter of time. Who knows, perhaps if we drop points at home to Newcastle on Saturday, the board may make a decision – particularly with the international break giving them two weeks to ponder on the situation.
