Manchester United have looked close to sealing the signature of Pedro Rodriguez for a while now, but today the club could have just been given the clearest indication yet that the Spaniard will be playing at Old Trafford before the transfer deadline passes.
According to Sport, Louis van Gaal has personally asked to sign the 28-year old, and Pedro said yes to a move to Manchester United this summer.
There are a few details left to iron out, and the biggest stumbling block at this moment in time is the transfer fee. Barcelona want €30million upfront for the fan favourite, whereas at the moment Manchester United are offering €25million & €5million in add-ons and bonuses.
It looks as though that eventually United will agree to pay the release clause of Pedro and get him involved in the squad in the not too distant future, and there is no doubting the Spaniard will be a fantastic acquisition.
hhmmmm
Pedro is great player
Good news for man u for pedro
If Van Gaal wants results the he should play the players in their right positions
very true
look at that…Memphis was playing in his right position and he scored twice. Now he must play Rooney behind the striker and the goals will come
