Marcus Rashford has been called ‘unbelievable’ by England teammate and fellow Mancunian, Phil Foden.

Manchester United Football Club are being represented extremely well at the World Cup right now. I’d argue Red Devils players as doing better as a collective than any other club in the world – certainly in the Premier League anyway.

Credit has to go to Erik ten Hag and his coaching staff for that. He’s working wonders with the squad and the proof is in the pudding – the lads are all playing well.

Perhaps the biggest success story is Marcus Rashford. The Englishman cut a sad figure last term. He looked like his head wasn’t in it anymore. He even flirted with an Old Trafford exit in an attempt to turn his form around.

Well, we’re all glad Rashy decided to stick around. His form for club and country has been impeccable.

Now, the United star has been labelled ‘unbelievable’ by his international teammate, Phil Foden. The City star also went on to say that Rashford is ‘top three’ when it comes to ball striking. That’s certainly high praise indeed.

Check out what Phil Foden had to say on Marcus Rashford here:

“This guy, for sure, is top three in the world the way he strikes the ball. If he continues to hit the target he’s going to score a lot of goals.” Foden told the media, including the MEN.

“Great talent, he’s unbelievable isn’t he,” Foden added. “You can see today how crucial he’s going to be in the next stages. We’re going to need him for sure.”

Foden himself deserves immense praise. Whether we like it or not, he has been sensational for City and England. It’s a crime he didn’t start in the opening couple of matches, quite frankly.

The pair have a great on-field rapport and it’s there for all to see. Watching two Mancunians flourish at the highest level leaves us all feeling very proud.

Perhaps the scary thing for opponents is that Rashford can still improve even further. Some parts of his game are still a little rough around the edges. No doubt Ten Hag is doing his utmost to help him out in that regard.

I’m just delighted for Rashford. He came in for some heavy criticism recently. Those people are seemingly disappearing slowly but surely!
