Manchester United head into the international break on somewhat of a downer. Louis van Gaal’s men were embarrassed at the hands of Arsenal yesterday, and the players now head off to their respective countries to take part in European Championship fixtures, as well as friendlies.
One player who has been poor over recent weeks is Memphis Depay. His league form in general hasn’t been particularly great and this time away will certainly do him some good.
He returned to his native Holland this afternoon, and took to Instagram to express his delight at returning home.
Hopefully he uses his time wisely and works hard on improving his all-round game, because he clearly has the talent in abundance to become a fantastic player at this club, it might just take some time.
