Manchester United took a lengthy plane journey to Russia yesterday afternoon, with Louis van Gaal’s side looking to take command of their Champions League group by getting some points on the board away from home.
The side put in a fantastic performance over the weekend, with the key man in midfield being Bastian Schweinsteiger. The 31-year old veteran is already looking forward to United’s next game however, as he took to Twitter to post this message, as well as a snap from training.

That said, I wouldn’t be wholly surprised to see the German benched for this one, as Louis van Gaal looks to rotate his squad and keep his better player fresh for the upcoming derby – which is obviously the biggest game of the season till this point.
