Picture: Adidas print first Alexis Sanchez #7 Manchester United jersey

The first Alexis Sanchez Manchester United jersey has been printed by the Adidas Store in London, reported by the Irish Independent.

With no move confirmed yet, it seems a bold move by the Red Devils’ official shirt manufacturers, who are clearly keen to start selling what is likely to be the most sought-after shirt throughout the month of January.

As you can see, the shirt has the #7 on it, which is currently free at Old Trafford so it would make sense to give that to the Chile star upon his arrival.

This feels just a little too premature for my liking. As we all know, football is a funny old game and literally anything can happen. Until the deal has been confirmed by the club, I’d be holding off on my shirt printing for now.

However, the thought of Sanchez playing in Manchester United colours is a mouthwatering one. He’s up there amongst the best players in the country, and adding a player of that calibre is something to be celebrated.

Now, it’s down to Edward Woodward to get this deal over the line as soon as possible. United chiefs have until 12:00 BST to get him registered in time to take on Burnley this weekend, but that deadline seems to be approaching just too quickly.
