PICTURE: Adnan Januzaj celebrates with U21 team-mates after superb goal

Adnan Januzaj once again grabbed the headlines, as he scored an outstanding free-kick in the dying minutes of the U21 game against Tottenham last night. The Belgian had to settle for youth football for yet another week, but he may just get his chance against Everton, after Wayne Rooney’s three-game ban was confirmed.

The 19-year old made his breakthrough last season, and was the shining light in a poor season last year, however Louis van Gaal has spent big this summer meaning Januzaj’s chances have been hugely limited.

Its nice to see him continuing to work hard, and producing the goods even at youth level. He finished the game with one goal and one assist, meaning he now has four goals and two assists in his last two U21 appearances.
