Alejandro Garnacho has been pictured back in training ahead of Aston Villa’s visit to Old Trafford tomorrow.
Manchester United play a crucial game at the Theatre of Dreams tomorrow afternoon, when in-form Aston Villa visit. No doubt the game itself will be a tight affair.
Before that clash, United have received some good news. The Red Devils have been boosted by the return to training of Alejandro Garnacho, with the young star pictured in training ahead of the Villa game tomorrow.
Garnacho has been missing since early-March, after being on the wrong end of a pretty shocking tackle that went unpunished. The seven weeks without him have made things tougher, largely due to United’s lack of depth in the wide areas.

The fact that he’s back for the run-in is huge. Whether Garnacho is utilised as a starter, or a bench player, doesn’t really matter. His impact off the bench can be massive against tired defences, while he has the quality to start matches and his say.
It also takes a little pressure off the likes of Marcus Rashford, who has largely been our sole source for goals at times this term.
From a personal standpoint, it means Garnacho can continue to press on with what has been an outstanding debut season. He’s already made 31 appearances across all competitions for the Old Trafford club at the tender age of 18. He could push that number above 35 before the campaign is out.
Don’t forget he’s also signed a new deal this week. Not a bad few days for the young man…
