Anthony Martial is now back in training following injury. And we have the photo evidence to prove it…
Manchester United Football Club take on the old enemy tomorrow, with the Red Devils heading to The Etihad Stadium to take on Pep Guardiola and company.
The game itself will be a good barometer to see how far United have come in the early stages of the Erik ten Hag era. Ahead of that match, it appears a certain Frenchman is going to be back and available for selection.
Yesterday, it was confirmed by the boss that Martial has been back on the pitches all week.
Now, we’ve been given photo evidence. The key player was spotted back in training, giving United a huge lift ahead of this absolutely massive game.

Again, nobody is expecting miracles from United tomorrow, though if they can compete and at least hold their own for portions of the match, I think we’ll all come away satisfied.
How much football will Martial play here? I’m not so sure. Anything around the 30-minute mark would be a pure bonus for Ten Hag, though Martial has always done well in derby matches, so the temptation to start him must be real.
Either way, it’s just super encouraging to see that Martial is gearing up to making his return. We’re going to need him over this hectic month before the World Cup starts.
I guess at this point, it’s about not rushing him back too quickly. I’d rather see Martial miss the derby, but be fit for the rest of the month, if that makes sense…
