Manchester United Football Club announced their January Player of the Month winner earlier on, with Anthony Martial scooping his third trophy this term.
The Frenchman has been in scintillating form, scoring goals for fun and cementing his place in the side despite Alexis Sanchez’s arrival. Martial scored in three consecutive games for the first time in his Manchester United career, and also tacked on two assists for his teammates.

Martial has been brilliant since day one. This is a young man who has the footballing world at his feet, and it’s scary how much potential he has. Credit to Jose Mourinho for sticking with the 22-year-old when he was going through somewhat of a rough patch, and now both the club and player are reaping the rewards.
We’re now approaching the business end of 2017/18 and it’s up to Martial and the rest of our attacking options to keep finding the net. Yes, it probably looks as though the Premier League title is done and dusted, but don’t forget we’re still right in contention for both the FA Cup and Champions League trophies.
