Manchester United’s interest in Antoine Griezmann has been well documented. The French star is one of the best players on the planet, and it would be quite a coup if Jose Mourinho and Edward Woodward can somehow pull this deal off. With that said, it certainly wouldn’t come cheap.
In the age of social media, we’re constantly updated with players whereabouts and what they are up to. Today, another reported Manchester United transfer target in the form of Kylian Mbappe took to social media to post a picture of himself with the France squad; including Griezmann.

Both of these guys would add an awful lot to Manchester United if their respective transfers happened, but for right now, it is pretty evident that the pair are focused solely on international duty.
Over the next couple weeks, France takes on Paraguay, Sweden and finally England, so I’d be very surprised to hear any concrete information before those games are over. Especially the one against Sweden as that fixture is a World Cup qualifier.
At the end of the day, the summer is long and no doubt they’ll be plenty more twists and turns in both of these deals before that point. I guess we should just sit tight, enjoy our break away from football and what happens happens. Mourinho has gotten every single one of his transfer decisions correct so far, so he definitely has my full backing.
