Manchester United have enjoyed a great month of September across a variety of competitions. Jose Mourinho’s men look like the real deal at this point in time, and a large part of that success is down to fringe players turning it up a notch.
For example, Ashley Young has been deployed as our left-back recently, and he’s been playing some sensational football out there. Of course, it isn’t his natural position, but he’s doing an excellent job.
It seems whilst he was out and about, he bumped into another brilliant left-back from years gone by in the form of Patrice Evra, and the pair shared their meeting on social media.

Of course, Evra won absolutely everything there is to win as a Red Devil, and Young will obviously be looking up to him as an example of how to play the full-back role perfectly. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn Youngy asking for a couple of tips here and there, too!
At the end of the day, it’s always great when you see old teammates bump into each other and enjoy a little catch-up. It does feel pretty weird considering Young has been playing left-back over the last few weeks, then days later he meets one of the best to ever play the position.
