PICTURE: Bebe’s move away from Manchester United confirmed

Its official, Bebe has left Manchester United Football Club. The 24-year old was infamously bought by Sir Alex Ferguson, without even scouting him. He cost the club a huge £7.5million and was eventually a gamble that never paid off despite scoring three goals in seven appearances.

Bebe has spent two seasons on loan out in his native Portugal, and he did relatively well on both occasions, scoring a bunch of goals. He was even considered for a spot in Portugal’s World Cup squad in late-May.

His season was so impressive that current champions Benfica have been persuaded into acquiring Bebe’s services, and he’ll be fighting for more silverware next season. The most ironic thing is that now Bebe will be playing Champions League football next season, whereas United won’t…
