Picture: Brilliant Solskjaer banner unveiled at Carrington by Norweigen broadcaster

Understandably, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s move back to Manchester United is headline news back in his homeland of Norway.

I’d even go as far as staying that this is the biggest footballing story in that country since Solskjaer’s injury-time winner against Bayern Munich in 1999.

As you’d imagine, their journalists, fans, and reporters are loving the coverage that their country is getting at the moment, and one broadcaster, who has flown out to Manchester to cover the story, has unveiled this hilarious banner outside Carrington.

I mean, this is just great, isn’t it? Who doesn’t love Solskjaer? So I imagine there was a whole lot of honking going on outside United’s training ground this afternoon.

All jokes aside, this just epitomises what a happy place Old Trafford is all of the sudden. It’s crazy how quickly things change in football, and suddenly, the optimism levels are through the roof.

Hopefully, Solskjaer can kick off on the right foot this weekend and get a much-needed three points under his belt. If you look at our fixture list, you’d certainly fancy us to go on a decent run early, and start closing the gap on our top four rivals.
