Bruno Fernandes scored his first Man United hat-trick yesterday – and what a perfect time to do it.
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes absolutely ran the show at Old Trafford yesterday.
It’s easy to forget that our Portuguese Magnifico only played a handful of games in front of a packed out Old Trafford before COVID-19 hit, though he seems intent on making up for lost time.
Against Leeds United yesterday, he’d hit his first Red Devils hat-trick, with each goal scored being better than the last. What a world-class individual we have on our hands.
It was just superb seeing so many smiles on faces once again, with Bruno’s beaming grin the best of the lot. Anyway, after the game, the United talisman would take to social media to send a joke to his wife, admitting he’s ‘bringing something new’ home after hitting his stunning hat-trick.
Check out Bruno’s cheeky joke about the match-ball here:
Bruno should absolutely enjoy this moment. Scoring a Premier League hat-trick is never easy, but to do it against a top-class Leeds United side makes this even better.
Honestly, I woke up this morning and pinched myself. Fans back in stadiums, United unveiling Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho making his debut, sticking five past Leeds and Bruno being Bruno. You absolutely love to see it.
We all loved Bruno already but this has only further endeared him to United fans’ hearts. Honestly, all that’s left for the midfield maestro is to help us line the Old Trafford trophy cabinet with one or two of the major pieces of silverware.
I wouldn’t bet against us doing that this season if that start is anything to go by.
Well played, Bruno!
