PICTURE: Comparing Louis van Gaal’s domestic record with other Premier League bosses

Louis van Gaal officially took charge of his first Manchester United training session today, and is expected to hold his first press-conference tomorrow afternoon. The 62-year old has already completed two signings in the form of Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera, and without wanting to jinx it, Arturo Vidal is looking likely.

Sky Sports News ran this graphic earlier today, in which they compare Louis van Gaal to his rival managers and as you can see he has the joint most domestic league titles alongside Jose Mourinho. Its also worth noting that five of Pellegrini’s six league titles came in South America.

Mourinho and Wenger have the edge when it comes to domestic titles, and once again Mourinho is in front when it comes to Champions League crowns. Louis van Gaal also has one European title to his name, and that came with Ajax in the 1990s.
