In the latest issue of the ’12th man’, a magazine for Manchester United Season Ticket holders, David Moyes has pleaded with the fans ad asked them to stand by him. He claims that he knew the job would be a difficult one, but in the long run we’ll turn things around and become successful again.
One thing you cannot fault David Moyes for is his passion for the club – He praises the fans for their performances home and away, and thanks them for their continued supporting and backing.
I honestly believe that if we make three or four world class signings in the summer, whilst letting go of some deadwood from in the squad we’ll be right back up there again.

On the contrary, I don’t see any passion in that letter, just a lot of dull platitudes. Why did he bother writing it?
As for “those people outside the club” (which presumably includes United fans) who have a lot to say about Manchester United, you need to listen to some of them, David. You need to listen to the criticism and change things or you will be history.
