Manchester United Football Club have been struck badly by the injury bug this term, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer having to make do with an immensely thinned out squad.
At this time, the international break is probably good news for the Red Devils. It allows the Baby Faced Assassin to hopefully get a few players back and available for selection for the game against Sheffield United this coming Sunday.
Anyway last night, another United star took to social media to show that he’s back on the right track. This time around it was United defender Diogo Dalot, who uploaded a photo of himself working hard in training – along with the caption ‘getting closer’ as he looks to return to the first-team fold…
Dalot was looking in great shape before picking up this latest problem that has kept him out of action for far longer than expected – competing with Aaron Wan-Bissaka for that starting spot.
The fact that he’s versatile means Solskjaer can use him in either full-back position, or even further up the field if required. The talent is there, now it’s down to the player to stay fit and force his way into the manager’s plans on a permanent basis.
Hopefully, he’s fit and raring to go sooner rather than later!
