England took on France last night, with Wayne Rooney getting on the scoresheet and putting in a more than convincing performance for his country. On the opposite side Anthony Martial also played well, but there was one man making his first trip with the national side.
Jesse Lingard earned a call-up after Jamie Vardy pulled out of the squad through injury, and at half-time he bumped into a couple of old friends in the form of Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard.
The French pair seemingly looked delighted to see their former teammate, and it looks as though they were sharing a joke with the England man, as well as congratulating him on his first international call-up.
Unfortunately Lingard didn’t get on the pitch, but the fact that Roy Hodgson decided to include him in the squad is testament to just how far he has come over the last month or so.
