PICTURE: Fans message to Manchester United regarding Arturo Vidal

Manchester United’s pre-season got underway yesterday, as the lads won their first game in a hugely convincing manner. Goals from Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney, Reece James and Ashley Young gave the Reds a 7-0 victory against David Beckham’s former side, the LA Galaxy.

The stadium was packed with over 80,000 people, with the majority wearing Manchester United colours. Arturo Vidal has been the name on everyones lips recently, and this one fan below took it to a whole new level.

He created a banner made up of the Chile flag, with the words ‘Sign Vidal’ written on it as you can see below.

I love Vidal, and I think he’d be a fantastic addition to the United squad, but creating a banner is surely a bit too far?

  1. In cas e anyone was wondering about Vidal saying he isn’t moving to United this is actually what he said word for word after translation –

‘Are you going to put the Juve fans at ease and confirm you’re staying? (Laughs)

“I’m still on holidays, we’ll see starting from tomorrow.

You’re not going to Manchester (United) are you? – (Laughs) No, no.’

Have you spoken to Allegri yet?

I haven’t heard from him or from my teammates yet. I don’t know yet if I’ll stay, I have to speak with Allegri first, but I’m happy here.”
