Its about that time of year when the facts and figures from the season before are released, and The Daily Mail have acquired the top ten biggest shirt sellers in the Premier League. As you’d expect, the list features some of the best footballers in the world; Including the likes of Van Persie, Suarez and Hazard.
In the top ten, there are four Manchester United players who make the cut. Robin van Persie sits at #1, Wayne Rooney is at #6, whereas the attacking midfielder duo of Juan Mata and Shinji Kagawa sit at #8 and #9 respectively.
The surprise on this list has to be Shinji Kagawa, and it does make you wonder just how much revenue United are earning off his shirt sales alone. Manchester United are a huge market in Japan, and Kagawa is their poster boy – making it the perfect combination.
