Picture: Injured Manchester United star takes his son to watch former club

Manchester United Football Club are currently without the services of the injured captain Wayne Rooney, with rumours surfacing that the 29-year old isn’t actually injured, but he turned up for training with alcohol in his blood system.

Today, Rooney was pictured at Goodison Park, watching the side he supports, and the club who gave him the chance as a young boy – Everton.

Roberto Martinez’s men were taking on Crystal Palace in the Premier League, and its great to see Rooney not forget about the side who gave him his debut.

Rooney clearly has a big love for Everton, and he played in Duncan Ferguson’s testimonial game over the summer, and who knows, we could even see him return to Goodison Park on a permanent basis before the end of his career – it’d be fitting for him to say the least.
