Manchester United’s U21s have put in some outstanding performances over recent weeks, with Warren Joyce’s side impressing massively playing some brilliant attractive football. Louis van Gaal saw it first-hand tonight, as Joyce’s man smashed Norwich City’s U21s 7-0.
Its always nice to see the manager watching United’s youngsters first hand, and Louis van Gaal clearly isn’t shy on bringing these players through into the first-team. We’ve seen game time given to the likes of Jesse Lingard, Guillermo Varela and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson over the last few months.
One man who certainly staked a claim for some first-team action was Will Keane, who scored an impressive FIVE goals during the game, including all kinds of different strikes.
Louis van Gaal will also be pleased by Memphis Depay’s performance, and although he didn’t get on the scoresheet himself, he laid on three assists for his teammates from out on the left hand side.
