Manchester United Football Club have been handed a significant boost ahead of the pre-season tour getting underway next month – as Luke Shaw has returned to Carrington to begin training. The young man has been out of action since September, but his return will happen soon.
Shaw suffered that horrific injury during a Champions League match against PSV, but today he took to Twitter to let us all know that he is at the training ground already.
This is a week before the first batch of Manchester United players are due in for first-team training, and this is credit to just how dedicated the 20-year-old is about coming back and playing once again.
It must have been bitterly disappointing for the young man to miss so much football at an early stage in his career, but he wil learn from the experience and relish the game he loves even more.
