Luke Shaw has often been labelled ‘unfit’ and ‘unhealthy’ this summer, and today our young left-back has hit out at his critics, by posting this photo of himself. The 19-year old had an excellent pre-season before picking up an injury to his hamstring, but hopefully he’ll be fit and raring to go after the international break.
Shaw will give that United line-up some much-needed pace, and real defensive ability down that left-hand side. He’ll thrive in the wingback role given time, and he’ll be a goal threat going forward with his superb crossing ability.
