Manchester United’s Louis van Gaal confirmed the huge news that Luke Shaw was set to return to first-team training in the not too distant future; which is remarkable considering the severity of the injury he suffered back in September.
Today seemingly marked the return of Luke Shaw to the AON Training Complex, as Juan Mata took to Instagram and posted a picture of himself and Shaw in the dressing room after a training session.
Shaw is still training on his own which is understandable, but hopefully it won’t be too long until the left-back is involved with the group.
It would be an outstanding testament to his character if he manages to get back on the pitch competitively at all this season, but he certainly deserves the chance considering all he has gone through.
