Manchester United Football Club now knows their Champions League fate. Jose Mourinho’s men have been handed a tricky group, but the fixtures, for the fans at least, are certainly mouthwatering.
Juventus, Valencia CF and Young Boys are the opponents. It’s certainly not going to be easy for the Red Devils.
During the group stage ceremony, a former United legend, David Beckham, was presented with his own personal honour…
Becks was handed the prestigious President’s Award as the draw was taking place, in what would have been an immensely proud moment for him and his family.

Becks’ services to football are just brilliant. This is a man who just loves the beautiful game. Even though that he has now hung up his boots, he’s still a great servant to the sport as a whole, and what an ambassador he is.
I always look back at his time at United with fondness, although it was cruelly cut short for reasons that I guess we’ll never know.
He’s achieved everything their is, and I’ll never forget watching him being substituted off for the last time as a Paris-Saint Germain player as he left the field in tears. What a player, what a moment, what a man.
Congrats, Becks!
