Manchester United officially unveiled their home kit earlier this week, while we also got a peek at the goalkeeper jersey that we hope David de Gea is wearing next year.
Today, the usually reliable Footy Headlines have been at it again, as they’ve given us a glimpse at a rather, shall we say, ‘unique’ looking away number.
They’re crediting @devbhatia on Twitter for this one, with the top being spotted in an Indian store; presumably it has gone on sale prematurely, but honestly, I’m not a fan…
Made by Adidas, the away kit features Chevrolet as the main shirt sponsor predominantly made from linen. The kit itself is a brownish-green while black is used as the main accent colour.
It seems as though United have ditched the ‘shield’ that sits under the badge of both the home and goalkeeper kit, which does make me question the legitimacy of this leak, but we’re happy to put our trust in Footy Headlines who’ve been brilliant when it comes to Reds kits in the past.
To me it’s very resemblant of snakeskin but it’s not a look I’m a fan of. Adidas have gone way out of left-field with this one and it’ll be interesting to see whether it’s amongst the best-sellers.
