Manchester United Football Club is currently on hiatus due to *that* pandemic which is protruding through the world at this point in time.

Alas, we’re at that portion of the season where, behind the scenes, planning for the next term is underway.

Amongst the many jobs that are required is sorting out a new kit for the fresh season. Gone are the days when United would wear the same kit for multiple seasons, nowadays, the Red Devils have three fresh jerseys a season…

Anyway, the guys over at the ever-excellent Footy Headlines have the first leak in regards to what our kit could potentially look like next term – brace yourself, it’s certainly bold…

As per usual, the home shirt will be predominantly red, while the Adidas logo will be white this time around. It’s black in 2019/20. The first thing that catches your eye is the ‘paintbrush’ pattern.

Typically, I’m a fan of the more basic kits, particularly for the home jersey which is usually just classic. Footy Headlines do go on to unveil that the shorts and socks will both be white.

United’s home strip is set to be released by July 2020, though who knows if that’ll happen amid the Coronavirus epidemic…
