Manchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur today, in what is the Red Devils’ final pre-season game over in the Far East before returning to Europe for a couple more fixtures closer to home.

Before the game, the Red Devils official Twitter account showed a real touch of class by putting all the player names on the jerseys in Chinese as well as English.

No doubt the fans who are over in Shanghai will be loving seeing their heroes names in the native language, and it’s a simple yet effective gesture that will only please supporters all over the world.

Things like this just reiterate the belief that United are the biggest club on the planet and it’s easy to forget just how massive the Red Devils are despite some poor form recently.

Today’s game against Spurs represents another step up in opposition for the 20-time Premier League champions. Obviously, Spurs are a side United are familiar with, and this will be a true test to see whether this new, high-pressing system that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has implemented is working well.

The result isn’t all-that-important, but as long as the lads look competitive throughout, no doubt our fans will go home happy while feeling positive about the season ahead.
