Manchester United’s season simply cannot end quick enough. You’d hope that behind the scenes planning is already underway for the 2019/20 campaign.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to be given money to spend in order to mould the playing squad into one that fits his image, but that’s something we’ll discuss in great detail over the summer.
Back in the here and now, the guys over at Footy Headlines have seemingly got their hands on our goalkeeper kit for next term – and it’s certainly eye-catching…
Coloured both purple and pink, Adidas are going all-out with this one and I don’t think you can argue that it will catch attention.
The fact that there is the ‘shield’ sitting underneath the club crest leads me to believe that this rumour is genuine, due to the fact that it follows in with the pattern of the home kit which was leaked just a few weeks ago.
Personally, I’m not a fan. The pattern doesn’t really take my fancy as I don’t see the relevance of it, but as per usual, the goalkeeper kits do tend to be more ‘out there’ in comparison to the outfield jerseys.
I guess all that’s left for the club is to now ensure that David de Gea is donning this extravagant jersey in August…
