Manchester United have completed another bit of shrewd transfer business, tying the extremely talented Ander Herrera down to a new long-term contract that’ll keep him at the Theatre of dreams until at least 2018.
Pereira’s future was in doubt up until recently, with many expecting him to switch for pastures new in favour of more playing time elsewhere.
However it looks as though Louis van Gaal has seen something he likes with the talented 20-year old, and hopefully he may get his chance before the season is out if United can wrap up a spot in the top four sooner rather than later.
Failing that we should see an awful lot more of him next season, he’ll probably take part on the club pre-season tour of America, and may even get his chance in the cup competitions.
