Manchester United have won away from home for the first time in seven months, and their 2-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium is United’s first away win against a ‘top team’ in over two years. As you can see from the picture below, the lads celebrated like a weight had been lifted off their shoulders, and they really enjoyed every second of it.
It sounds baffling when you say a club the size of Manchester United hadn’t secured three points away from home since April of last season when United won 4-0 away to Newcastle. However we’re a side certainly on the up once again, and Louis van Gaal’s masterful tactics played a big part in brining three points back to Old Trafford.
