Manchester United finally moved up from the infamous sixth place position in the Premier League this weekend, as Jose Mourinho’s side beat Middlesbrough 3-1. The game itself was an intriguing battle, but you always felt like the Red Devils were going to come out on top.
Today, WhoScored have released their Premier League Team of the Week, and it contains two Manchester United players. One of them is somewhat obvious, whereas the other is a bit of a surprise to me…
First up, we have Jesse Lingard who scored an 8.58 rating. The Warrington-born winger put in an excellent display throughout, and he capped it off with a brilliant goal. He made great runs, and linked up brilliantly with Marcus Rashford; more than proving his worth to Jose Mourinho.
The second Red included is Eric Bailly. This one seems a bit bizarre to me. He was played out of position as he started on the right-hand side of defence, but I thought he made a couple of mistakes early on that seemed to knock his confidence. Personally, I would have gone for Antonio Valencia in his place.

A brace against Hull means Romelu Lukaku has scored more goals (21) than any other Premier League player this term https://t.co/BIw8fiiPO3 pic.twitter.com/GxTO3LkiCj
