Manchester United are looking like a brilliant side under Jose Mourinho, with the self-proclaimed Special One getting some real good performances out of his players. With two wins from two, it certainly looks like we could well be in for a real positive season.
One of our new signings came on a free transfer, but is a huge name (in more ways than one); Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The 34-year-old Swede is one of the best strikers in the world, but many thought he’d be way past his best due to his age.
However, so far Ibrahimovic has silenced any doubters and quashed all beliefs that he isn’t good enough for the Premier League. He has scored four goals in our three competitive games – including a brilliant brace against Southampton to help United to all three points.
That aforementioned display earned him a spot in BBC’s Team of the Week, alongside the likes of Sergio Aguero, Cesc Fabregas and John Stones.
