Picture: Manchester United home kit leak for 2018/19 season

Since Manchester United switched their kit manufacturer to Adidas, the sports brand have come up with some stunning jerseys.

From the throwback stuff they’ve designed, to the brilliant third-kit that our lads will don this year, all credit has to go to the famous Three-Striped company.

The home kit this time around, though, is different. According to Footy Headlines, the photo below is what United’s superstars will be wearing in 2018/19. At first glance, I’m not that much of a fan and I’m hoping this one will be a grower, but you have to say that Adidas certainly aren’t playing it safe.

Check out the kit, via Footy Headlines, here:

The stripes, both faded and black ones, all across the kit just don’t look all-too appealing in my opinion. I think it’s just too much, and I always prefer the more basic kits (particularly the home ones).

Obviously, the official release may be slightly different, but this just looks cheap. At the end of the day, though, it’s now what you’re wearing, it comes down to how you play. As long as the lads put in some better performances in 2018/19, it doesn’t really matter. Who knows, this could go down alongside that horrific table-cloth number we had in Robin van Persie’s debut season.
