Manchester United welcome Bayern Munich in what is without doubt David Moyes’ most important game of the season so far. Olympiacos away aside, the 50-year old Scot has done well on the continent this year, but the real test comes against the current holders of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage.
As expected, Bayern Munich are heavy favourites going into the match, but they’d be silly to underestimate a United side who seem to be on their way to finding a bit of decent form.
The crowd have a huge part to play, and already the players have hailed they’ll need to act as the ‘twelfth man’ and roar United home. Stretford End Flags have been coming in for some stick of late over ‘The Chosen One’ banner that sits on the Stretford End, but credit where credits due, the banner for tomorrow night looks excellent.
