Today is the 56th anniversary of the Munich air disaster, the day where Manchester United unite as a football club, and pay their respects to all those that lost their lives. Twenty-three people passed away on that cold afternoon in Germany, including eight players and three members of staff.
United have shown their class once again, by changing their Twitter avatar to the Munich clock on a black background. The website has had a whole re-design too, check it out here.
Its nice to see the club pay their respects in such a simplistic but effective way.
All those who lost their lives will be remembered at the Fulham game on Sunday, as its the nearest home game to anniversary of that tragic event.
