Manchester United Football Club have confirmed that Brandon Williams has signed his first professional contract.
The full-back has been key to United U18s side this term, a team that won their league relatively comfortably earlier on this month.
Now Williams will be delighted to agree upon his first pro deal and hopefully, his progression and development will continue under the excellent Kieran McKenna.
It’s always great watching homegrown talents, particularly ones who have been at the club for so long. In William’s case, he’s a lad who has been at Old Trafford for almost a decade, which is crazy when you think about the fact that he’s still so young.

He’ll know that he’s at the best club in the country to learn his trade, while also being at a place that will give opportunities to young lads who have proven their worth. His best inspiration will be both Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay, who are both earning ample minutes under Jose Mourinho.
For now, though, Williams should concentrate on playing for the U18 side while trying to earn his way into the U23 setup, which is no easy feat.
