Manchester United youngster Davide Petrucci has terminated his contract at the club, and joined CRF Cluj on a permanent deal where he will wear the #4 jersey. Petrucci arrived at Old Trafford in 2008 after moving from AS Roma, but since then he has failed to make an impact on the Manchester United first-team.
Various loan moves haven’t helped his development either, having been farmed out to clubs such as Peterborough, Charlton and Royal Antwerp where he also struggled.
At 22, he simply had to move clubs if he wants to further his professional career. So he took matters into his own hands by terminating his contract, and making the move to Romanian side Cluj.
