Just over a year ago, Manchester United gave birth to their new hero. Marcus Rashford burst onto the scene scoring goals for fun, including netting against the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City. Since then, he’s been a regular feature within the squad.
That didn’t change last season, although at times he had to play second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The lad from Wythenshawe kept working hard and performing when he got his opportunities, but for me, there was always one weakness in his game.
He was muscled off the ball far too easily due to his weak frame, but it looks as though the young man has recognised that himself if his latest social media post is anything to go by.
Have a look at the photo via Marcus Rashford’s Twitter here:

Just look at how defined those arms are. Alright, they are still pretty puny in comparison to the likes of Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku, but it’s certainly a step in the right direction and he’ll reap the rewards of that next season.
It’s clear that the teenager has the desire and hunger to put in the work to go all the way in the beautiful game, and I’m definitely expecting big things of him going forward.
Social media seem to agree he’s been working pretty hard:
Looks like Rashford doesn't like being bullied. He has been in the gym this summer. #MUFC #manutdzimbabwe pic.twitter.com/HMCx76gBpz
