Manchester United host Everton this coming Sunday, coming off the back of a resolute 2-1 victory against West Ham last weekend. This is the final game before the international break, so it would be extremely nice if we could go into this one with a couple of very nice victories under our belts.
This is the starting line-up I reckon Louis van Gaal will go with. He has already confirmed that Paddy McNair will be starting at centre-back, probably alongside Marcos Rojo. Luke Shaw and Rafael both had excellent games, so should keep their places.
Daley Blind is a shoe-in to start as the holding midfielder, and Angel Di Maria will definitely be one of the central midfielders. Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie pick themselves, whereas Juan Mata should benefit from Wayne Rooney’s three match suspension.
The only spot that looks up for grabs is the other midfielder. Marouane Fellaini and Darren Fletcher are both fighting for it, but I reckon Van Gaal will opt for the Belgian as he hasn’t played a competitive game under his reign yet.
