PICTURE: Potential 4-4-2 diamond formation vs Palace – Blackett returns

Manchester United must win their next game at home against Crystal Palace, and go into the international break on a high. Louis van Gaal’s men have been playing much better football of late, but the lads now need to turn the hard work on the training ground into points in the Premier League.

An injury-hit back line is a huge talking point at the moment, with Jonny Evans the only senior defender expected to be fit. Louis van Gaal likes to have at least one left-footed centre-back in the side, and Tyler Blackett would fit that role suitably alongside the very much two-footed Jonny Evans.
